Chapter 01
Water Testing and Chemical Balancing
A pool in Stafford in August is not the same body of water it was in April. Heat drives chlorine off faster, a week of rain dilutes and shifts the balance, and a weekend with eight people in the pool does more to the chemistry than a fortnight without.
So the water is tested professionally on every visit and dosed to that reading, adjusted for environmental conditions and actual usage rather than to a fixed schedule. Chlorine and acid go in as the test calls for, and a phosphate remover denies algae its food source. A pool dosed to a calendar rather than a test is the one that goes cloudy in the week you have people over.

Pool Filter Cleaning, D.E. and Cartridge
This is a teardown, not a rinse through the door. All the grids or cartridges come out and are hosed off individually, which is the only way to reach the pleats and fabric faces where the fine material sits. The O-rings are lubricated before reassembly, and any grid or cartridge that has gone is replaced. Price varies by filter size.
The unit then goes back together and takes fresh D.E. as needed. A filter with torn grids will keep circulating water and keep passing dirt straight back into the pool, with nothing to alarm you, which is why owners so often mistake it for a chemistry problem.
Chapter 03
Sand Filter Media Replacement
Sand filters work because the grains are sharp and irregular. Over years of use those grains round off and the bed starts channeling, letting water find a route straight through without being filtered. No amount of backwashing corrects that.
The job is to remove the old sand from the tank, replace the laterals, add new sand or media, and renew the O-rings as necessary. The laterals matter: they hold the sand back while letting water through, and a cracked one puts sand into your pool.
Equipment Inspection and Preventative Maintenance
On every maintenance visit our technicians check pumps, filters, heaters, timers and plumbing connections. It is included in the visit and not billed separately.
It exists because the failures that cost real money on a pool announce themselves first as something small: a pump slightly louder than it was, a union weeping onto the pad, a time clock drifting a few minutes a week until the pool is no longer turning over its full volume. Catching those on a Tuesday is a very different conversation from finding them after the pool has gone green.
Seasonal Adjustments and Customized Service Plans
Service plans are adjusted through the year for weather and use patterns rather than run identically in February and July. A pool under heavy summer load, a pool that sits under oaks through the fall, and a pool barely used over winter each want something different.
If a weekly route is not what you want, a one-time pool cleaning covers the same scope and is charged at $115/hour (+tax) plus the cost of chemicals. It is the usual call before people come over, after a storm, or when a pool has been left alone for a few weeks and needs bringing back rather than maintaining.

Billing
Weekly service is billed monthly, by paper or e-mail, whichever you prefer. Visa or Mastercard billed automatically monthly is available if you would rather not think about it at all.
